My Holiday 

After we had our final exams of the semester, the school holiday came! So this time, this blog is about everything that I do on my school holiday.

The final exams are obviously tiring, so we as a student needs a holiday. For my holiday, I went to Bali following my father as he had a meeting there. I followed my father to bali to participate in the Family Gathering that my father's office held, after the meeting. I went there alone, leaving my mom, brother, and my sister first, before they also followed us to bali, because my mom still has a work to do. 

The first day it was on Thursday when I arrived at Bali in the afternoon, I was picked up by a driver that my father's office rent to pick up the families of their employee member. All of the activities in that family gathering, was fully funded by my father's office sooo it was really amazing. I arrived at the hotel that we're staying, the name was Anvaya Hotel. I entered the lobby as i sat there waiting for my father to come because he had a meeting before. After i met my father, he introduced me to his colleague, they were really nice and looked really smart too. I went with my father to the hotel restaurant to have lunch, there were soooo many foods that makes me confused about what to eat at that lunch. After our stomach are full, we went to take a walk around in the hotel area, it was reallyyy big. The hotel is located near the beach area, so we can also play in the beach there. Bali was so hot at that time, the temperature was almost the same as Banjarbaru City in South Kalimantan. We didnt play in the beach that time, because i was so exhausted and wanted to go straight into the hotel room. The hotel room was nice, it was big and comfy, the bathroom was comfy as well. After taking some rest in the hotel room, we went to a dinner at Jimbaran Resto with my father's office. We took a ride there using a bus for the family members, I saw a lot of bus around, It was 4/5 bus there. We ate dinner while watching the sunset and feeling the breeze of the ocean, it was a nice dinner. Sooo many things were served on our table, like crabs, lobster, shrimp, and a fish, we also get to choose our drink, I choosed to drink hot orange juice. There was a show too for the guests to enjoy, like barong dance, singing, and many more. We went back to hotel after that, always using the bus. We arrived, and took our rest for the activity tomorrow.  

The second day there, I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the food choices were also a lot you can find anything there. We took a bus again and was guarded by the police there using their motorcyle. The first agenda of the day, is Bali Safari Zoo. We took a safari ride around the safari, there were many animals that were being raised by the zoo. We ate lunch there in the Safari Restaurant, we had prasmanan there. After we ate lunch, we had Jumat Prayer in the nearby mosque. From the safari we went to Krisna Handmade Gifts and do shopping there. We also ate dinner there in the restaurant above the Krisna Souvenir shop. And that concludes the second day of the Family Gathering. 

My mom and my siblings had their flights in the night of the second day and arrived late night on the third day. The third day of the famiky gathering, we went to have activities in the sea! We ride somekind of boat to a place above somekind of platform in the middle of the sea near an island. After an 1 hour ride, we arrived there and excited for the activities there. There were snorkling, banana boat, rowing boat, and many more. First I tried snorkeling, the sea was really clear and blue, but the wave was really strong that makes me dragged by the waves, it wasn't big tho but it was strong. After snorkeling, I tried banana boat. The banana boat was pulled by a smaller boat around the area. I rode it two times, and the second time we fell down to the sea hahahahaha. After sea activities we are heading to watch a show called Devdan Show, It was amazinggg one of the best shows that i ever watched. The third day concludes the Family Gathering event.

The fourth day we went alone with my family. First we went to Ulun Danu lake. We watched the tradisional ritual there, I think it was about giving food to the lake in hope for good luck for the future. 

The fifth day of my holiday in Bali, we went to watch barong show at Barong and Kris Dance Show. It was amazing knowing about their religion of trusting mystical animals and that's what was shown in the show. It was also magical, the hurt themselves with the Kris but they didnt bleed. Thats why it's called Barong and Kris Dance. After that we went to Bali Zoo that was located near the show. It has much more complete different types of animals than Bali Safari. We get to know many different kinds of animals there, it was so fun. After that we went to see the Kecak Dance that is famous for its unique way of performing the dance, by singing all of the instrumental music elements using their mouths! Usually we heard the shouting singing as "Cak Cak Cak" thats why it's called Kecak Dance. It was a wonderfull experience that I had. And that's also my last day of holiday in Bali before I head back to Bandung in the tomorrow afternoon.
